A Defense For the Hope We Can Only Have in Jesus Christ

The history of the Christian faith has been so maligned and misunderstood in our modern culture.  What so many believe about Christ’s influences in the world has been received from the secularized entertainment, academic, and government cultures which all portray Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ and the faith in Him negatively.  It also doesn’t help that what we often see and hear from the pulpits of the main line denominations seems to have come from a secular or even pagan origin.  This blog is an attempt to correct these problems.

I invite you to become a follower of it.  Just click the follow button to the right.  I hope you visit here often to learn how the followers of Christ have positively impacted our world by following his Great Commission.  I also invite you to benefit from a closer examination of the scriptures for His true messages to us.

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear,”1 Peter 3:15

Finally, if you are not a Christian I urge you to become one.  There is an after life and your physical death is coming.  Humble yourself to the Lord, confess you are a sinner in need of the free gift of eternal salvation that only He can offer.  Choose Him as your heavenly father and Lord of your earthly life.  Then invite his Holy Spirit to guide your heart and mind in your daily walk.  Do this my friend then join a local congregation.   Support it with your personal treasure.  Give it your skills and talents.  Stand for shaping and molding the culture of your circle of existence.  It is all for the glory of Jesus, the Christ who will one day return to establish his kingdom on earth forever and ever.
